Jeff Brown has more than three decades of experience as a high-tech executive, investor, and investment research analyst.
He's widely known for his candid and untarnished analysis and insights into the world of tech, biotech, economics, and investment research.
Millions have read and enjoyed his work at his most recent role as founder and chief investment analyst at Brownstone Research, where he worked and published for 8 years. His daily e-letter, The Bleeding Edge, was read and loved by over a million active people.
While now based in the U.S., Jeff's background is global, having lived and worked internationally for nearly 25 years. He worked for decades at executive levels at blue chip high-tech firms like Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductors, and Juniper Networks. His work experience ranges from semiconductors, wireless tech, information technology, cybersecurity, media and broadcast technology, encryption, fiber optics and RF networks.
As an analyst and angel investor, Jeff has done extensive work around robotics, quantum computing, nuclear fusion, battery technology, blockchain technology, genetic editing, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, aerospace, and broadband communications — just to name a few.
As an active angel investor, Jeff has invested in more than 400 private deals. As his long-time readers know, this private asset class has historically been reserved for institutional investors, high net worths, and accredited investors…
Jeff made it his mission to help normal investors get access to the same kind of investments — in an effort to level the playing field.
Whether it be early stage private companies, municipal bond IPOs (primary offerings), convertible bonds, or using artificial intelligence to find high-probability trading opportunities, Jeff is focused on developing strategies for everyday investors to get a new edge in generating wealth, regardless of market conditions. To help stack the deck back in our favor, as they say.
Jeff earned his Bachelors of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. He earned his Masters of Science in Management, majoring in corporate finance from the London Business School. And he is also an alumnus of Yale's School of Management. Jeff has done additional post-graduate studies at both Stanford and MIT.
